Welcome to the Summer Classic Series
The coronavirus outbreak has had a huge impact on our sport. Without good shows to produce, compete and promote our horses in Ireland, the industry will be decimated.
We are excited to host our online studio style live showcase competition scheduled throughout July, and August. We will be running similar classes and format to our inaugural 2019 Summer Classic which was awarded Show of the Year. The grand finale will take place on Friday 21st & Saturday 22nd August, with the Friday Grand Prix taking place at night under lights. There will be VIP marquee hospitality and dining with entertainment throughout the competitions and into the evening (Covid compliant).
The entire series will be live-streamed by ClipMyHorse TV with a potential audience of 2 million from 71 countries. CMH.TV gets 90 million horse view per year making it the leading provider of live streams for equestrian sports & horse breeding events in Europe.
CMH.TV will broadcast livestream from all legs of the Summer Classic Series. We will deliver a studio style commentary presented by household named such as Brendan Mcardle and Gerry Mullins.
For the finals, competitors who have purchased a VIP Sponsored Wildcard or Series Wildcard will not only ensure their place in the final but will also have access to ringside hospitality, with complimentary champagne.

Selection of participants
- In order to implement physical distancing and ensure we deliver a production that showcases the best of Irish Showjumping to the world stage the Summer Classic Series entries will be very limited.
- Entry deadlines will be strictly adhered to with NO late entries or day entries accepted.
- We will be accepting entries on a first come first served basis, additionally to your online entries a limited wildcard system will be available to give riders, stables & owners the chance to guarantee their entries.
- Entries will be prioritised in order of Sponsored Wildcards, Series wildcards, Day wildcards then standard entries.
- All wildcard holders must follow entry protocol by entering each series leg on time via sji.live to comply with Covid-19 regulations.
- Maximum of 2 horses per class per athlete.

Please ensure you fill out the COVID track and trace while making your entries to ensure your grooms are authorised into the show grounds.
